Like Facebook? Check out Mental Health Social Network.

Colin Spencer Wood saw a need for a social network to bring together those suffering from mental illness. I must say that he has done a really good job. I am very pleased with it and I hope you will stop by and check it out.

Wood is quite friendly and has obviously spent a great deal of time putting this site together and still spends a great deal of time keeping things running smoothly. It really is quite a bit like Facebook, so if you are familiar with it you will have no trouble figuring out this site.

I just want to clarify that this website is not just for persons suffering with bipolar disorder. It is intended for anyone with any mental illness and you will certainly find other people who understand what you are going through.

You will also find groups, forums and chat. One group I am particularly interested in is I have bipolar disorder. I just joined but we need some more members so please consider joining the group if you are joining Mental Health Social Network. There are groups for other illnesses as well, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder.

I could use a few friends over there! In case you decide to join, you can find me at http://mentalhealthsocial.com/profile.php?user=atorturedsoul. Be sure to add me.

It is definitely worth checking out, but beware! If you are a Facebook addict, you will probably end up being a Mental Health Social Network addict. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you.
