Voices of Bipolar Disorder, Health.com and NaNo!

Posted By atorturedsoul on December 2, 2009

I just want to update everyone. I have a lot of things going on and I am pretty excited about it.

First off, I want to remind you that I have a piece in the newly released book, Voices of Bipolar Disorder. They are on sale at Amazon right now and they seem to be moving pretty fast. Right now, they only have three left-but they have more on the way. I have a copy and I must say that it’s a very good book. It includes personal stories from people in every stage-those who have just been diagnosed and people who have been dealing with bipolar disorder for years.

Anyway, pick up a copy of this book. I’m not saying that just because I am in the book. It really is a good book for anyone who has or knows someone who has bipolar disorder.

Lastly, I spent the month of November wrapped up in National Novel Writing Month. This was the first year I have participated and I am happy to say that I reached the 50,000 word goal. Despite being sick as a dog, an unexpected emergency room visit and the holiday rush, I still managed to get it done-50,000 words in 30 days. Now, I will have to edit it and that may prove to be a harder task than writing it.

Well, this is my latest news. Thanks for checking in and have a great day!

“Voices of Bipolar Disorder” looks like a great book. I am just finishing up Carlton Davis’ book on bipolar disorder titled, “bipolar bare,” a great memoir about living with the disorder- fascinating book. I will check out “Voices of Bipolar Disorder” when I finish this book- thank you for suggesting it!
