I have occasional migraines and I smoke too. I should quit because I now have reduced lung function and capacity after smoking for 20 years but I really enjoy it and it helps me calm down. Interesting research articles. Unfortunately, I had already tried Topamax as a mood stabilizer and it was not effective. I'll have to ask my shrink if adding Topamax to the cocktail will affect anything. As far as the smoking goes, I'm not planning on giving that up anytime soon. Almost like a DBT tool for me...lol!
