She is, of course, his favorite teacher. She gives them cards for making 100s on quizzes and let's them battle in class if they get their work done early. She battles with them. While it motivates the students, it also lets her get rid of some of her own energy and deal with her own issues. It works well for her and she is a great teacher. I think it is a matter of finding a way to release it rather than to hide it, as we know is useless. If you will be teaching elementary students, I'm betting it will work for you rather than against you. Your students may relate to you better because of the energy you have. They would only be prescribed for a person with DID if that person also had bipolar disorder (which is rather rare).
