Chima Simone Benson of Big Brother 11
After Chima was nominated for eviction by Michelle, she had been threatening to walk out of the Big Brother house. Early this morning (sometime between 1 AM and 3 AM Pacific time) Benson quit the game.
CBS has not released a statement concerning the events, but people who have subscribed to the live feeds reported that the feeds were cut for almost an hour and a half during the middle of the night. Once the feeds were back up, the other houseguests were talking about how there were only seven players left and stating that they would have to have a replacement in the jury house. It was then stated that Chima walked out.
Chima has been one of the most controversial players in the game and CBS has received numerous complaints about remarks she has made in the house. Many of the viewers were angered by the comments she has made concerning mental illness and her racist remarks about people of Middle Eastern descent.
It’s safe to say that she will not be missed by many viewers. CBS was flooded with complaints with many asking for her to be removed from the popular television show. While CBS did not act upon these complaints, Chima Simone Benson removed herself from the Big Brother house and is now the first houseguest in the United States to quit the game.
I’m quite sure that many of my readers are happy that they will no longer have to listen to the “low blow” remarks she is known for.
***Update***
An account of what happened while the feeds were cut has been posted on the internet. Although this was allegedly confirmed by Les Moonves, president of CBS and Julie Chen’s husband, it has NOT been confirmed and is purely specualtion at this point.

Allison Grodner (executive producer of BB): You will be paying for the mic pack Chima, this will come out your Stipend.
Chima: You know what? ***** this *****. I’m outta here. love you, nat–you too Lydia. *throws something* (her mic?)
She presses the diary room button, it doesn’t go green, she tries to pull the door open (EVERYONE is in the living room sitting down btw) and Chima says “don’t ***** with me, open this damn door. NOW!”
Then Nat and Lydia want to leave with her, but production asks them to remain a moment.
Allison Grodner: Everyone, PLEASE calm down!
Lydia gets up and tries to open the DR door, bangs on it, crying.
Chima was SCREAMING at Allison Grodner! The entire control room was told to record everything in case something happened. Security may have been there too.
Result?
1.Chima is the first BB USA contestant to ever QUIT.
2.No eviction week.
3.America will be voting as the seventh vote at jury.
4.Chima has forfeited ALL stipend, and will not be at the Finale night.
5.They will be showing this on TV Tuesday.

With one less person in the jury house, this would mean that the vote for the winner could result in a tie. I think that CBS should allow America to vote. Once it comes down to the final two, America could vote for who they would like to win. The results could be used as one vote…”America’s vote”…to keep it from being tied up and to keep them from replacing a juror with someone who knows everything that has been going on in the game.

Chima is such a big baby. this is all because her side of the house is not in power now. they are all babies…they were all okay when jeff and jordan’s friends went home but now she acts like this. thank god she is gone..that annoying voice and she works for hollyscoops..they should reconsider her employment!

It has been very obvious that Chima Benson is a very sick woman. She really has not recovered from her very traumatic experience. I hope she will consider intensive psychotherapy. What a waste !
