All About Bipolar

Boy have I been busy! Yesterday was the first day of my daughter’s band camp. Each morning, I have to drag all of the kids out to have her at band camp by 8 AM. I have to leave again at 11 AM to pick her up for lunch and she has to be back by 1 PM. Then I have to pick her up at 5 PM. Yesterday was also the first time my husband has carpooled in months. He got sick at work and I had to go pick him up at 1:30. It’s also the week of vacation bible school and it starts at 6 PM every night so we have to rush back home at 5 PM so everyone can eat very quickly and rush to the church. Did I mention that I hate driving?

And thus begins a fabulous two weeks of running my buns off…

Of course, it’s perfect timing as well. Sunday night, I felt the floor collapsing beneath me. Before I went to sleep, I felt like my body was a few feet higher than I was and someone was pulling me out of my feet. I see flashes of light occasionally and sometimes I go blank for a few minutes. (This would be LOADS of fun while driving.) Last night, I had something like the stomach virus and I am afraid to eat this morning because I have to run back and forth all day and I can’t be chained to the bathroom. I’ll be fasting today. It’s never one thing at a time. It’s everything at once. Isn’t that always how it is?

I’m not feeling sorry for myself. It just takes a lot of effort to get through the day with so much going on.
